Organic Cotton For Babies

I just read about how devestating ordinary cotton can be to the environment. You know, cotton, that stuff that is just about in every garment I own? It’s shocking, not just the ecological information but also how workers from around the world are suffering from all the poisons and pesticides.

Check out this cool hub about organic cotton baby clothes - the author lays out a pretty succinct argument for why organic cotton is important. Baby skin is so sensitive, and now that I know everything that they dump into cotton, I’ll never buy conventional cotton again.
